Dr. Joe Demichael has been a devoted dog lover, veterinarian, and breeder of beautiful white Labrador Retrievers for more than 25 years. As a result of a friendship started in the early 1980s with an esteemed British horseman, Joe's family and their dark yellow Lab, Winslow, were matched with a "royally bred" female Lab puppy whose coat was such a pristine shade of white that she was likened to a polar bear cub. Named Bainbridge, after the Seattle town, the fun-loving Lab who lived to play catch passed away in 2001, leaving 11 descendents, spanning four generations, to carry on her legacy.
