Tony Sweet is a former professional jazz musician who imbues his fine art nature and flower photographs with the same exciting improvised and abstract qualities for which jazz is so well known. His imaginative use of the lens to create striking scenics and artful infrared images has garnered Tony commercial success, with publication in greeting cards and postcards; calendars, posters, and catalogs; magazine articles; and on the Internet. He has authored two books: Fine Art Nature Photography: Advanced Techniques and the Creative Process (Stackpole Books) and Fine Art Flower Photography: Creative Techniques and the Art of Observation (Stackpole Books).
